FlashPrice privacy policy

FlashPrice is a Shopify app that schedules sales and restores prices when they end. This page explains what data the app stores and why.

What we store

• Store details: your store domain, store name, timezone, currency, and the store owner email address, used to run the app and to send you sale notifications if you keep them on.
• Product prices: for each sale, the product and variant names, SKUs, and the price and compare-at price before and during the sale, so the app can restore them exactly.
• Sale settings and activity: the sales you create, their schedules, custom prices, and a log of what the app did.
• Access token: the token Shopify issues so the app can read and update product prices on your behalf.

What we do not store

FlashPrice never requests or stores customer data, orders, or payment information. It only asks Shopify for permission to read and write products.

Who else sees it

• Hosting: the app and its database run on Fly.io servers.
• Email: sale notifications are sent through Resend. Only the recipient address and the notification text leave the app.

We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, the access token is deleted immediately. Sale records and price snapshots are kept for 48 hours so a reinstall can still restore prices, then deleted when Shopify sends the shop data erasure request. You can also ask us to delete everything sooner.
